Ready for a low impact & high intensity Tabata Workout? Get some burn into your core and upper body with this Tabata - 15 Minutes HIIT workout.
For this Tabata workout, we will work exclusively on the floor without jumping or any kind of standing exercises, but trust me: it's gonna be intense 😊However, it goes easy on your knees and ankles.
No equipment is required, we'll use our bodyweight only for this core and upper body focused Tabata routine.
Created by Professor Izumi Tabata for the physical preparation of Olympic skaters, Tabata workouts are a special form of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) that involve a combination of ultra-high intensity intervals for 20 seconds with 10 second brakes in between.
The whole point behind adopting a Tabata routine (composed of 4 workouts per week) is that it provides the same great results of regular training but within a shorter actual amount of workout time.
Workout structure:
► 20 seconds exercises (30 different exercises with no repeats)
► 10 seconds breaks
